COMMISSIONED BY MAYOR OF LONDON | LED BY HOUSE OF DREAD
History for Our Future is a learning network commissioned by the Mayor of London and delivered by HOUSE OF DREAD. Developed as a year-long pilot programme in 2025, the Network brought together educators, artists, researchers, community practitioners and institutions to explore the histories and ongoing legacies of the Transatlantic Trafficking of Enslaved Africans across education, culture and public life.
Through gatherings, deep dives, peer learning sessions and commissions, the programme created space for collective reflection, exchange and learning rooted in care, historical grounding and lived experience.
The History for Our Future Learning Network will continue to evolve through future gatherings, collaborations and public programming. If you are interested in joining the network or hearing about future activity, fill out our membership form and we will be in touch.
